Smaller events, higher standards
Twenty-five to eighty guests is the usual range here: a naming ceremony, a milestone birthday, a graduation lunch, a pooja for close family. At that size the food is inspected rather than surveyed — everything gets looked at, so everything has to be right.
That suits us: we would rather cook a tight menu of eight dishes well than a buffet of twenty that nobody finishes.
Working in a tight space
Metuchen houses do not come with catering kitchens or long driveways. We plan the footprint before the day — where the chafing goes, where the queue forms, whether the buffet lives in the dining room or the garage — and we keep the equipment to what the event genuinely needs.
Parking and unloading matter here more than in the townships; tell us the street and we will work out the drop rather than discovering it on the day.
Minutes from the corridor
Metuchen sits alongside Edison and Iselin, which means the full range of the Oak Tree Road corridor’s kitchens is available to it: Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian, Indo-Chinese and Mughlai, matched to the occasion rather than to one house menu.
For office lunches at the business parks nearby, boxed and labelled is almost always the right answer.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cater small events under 50 guests?
Yes. Small events are a large part of what we do in Metuchen, and the menu is built to the number rather than scaled down from a buffet.
Can you work in a small house with limited space?
Yes — we plan the footprint in advance and bring only the equipment the event needs.
Which cuisines can you cover?
Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian, Indo-Chinese, Mughlai and more, through partner kitchens along the Edison and Iselin corridor.
Do you deliver office lunches in Metuchen?
Yes, boxed and labelled for dietary requirements, or as trays where there is a room to lay them out.
